Relax in the Clubhouse at weekends

The club is open every weekend as per the sailing schedule. Members who aren’t sailing can relax and enjoy the river views from the balcony, watch sailing videos or help with race events.

Saturday 24th March–After Sailing film with Q&As

"Me, My Sex and I" –Giles Harrison will show us this compelling BBC TV documentary he made last year. It unlocks the stories of people born neither entirely male nor female –and asks whether our traditional binary understanding of gender is correct. This talk will follow the afternoon sailing activities.

Saturday 7th April–Boat Race Party

Fun on the towpath from from 12h00. The race starts at 14h30 and we cheer the start from the balcony and then follow the race on the large TV screen in our clubhouse.

Sunday 10th June Enterprise Open

Hosted by South Bank SC –Race and BBQ afterwards

September 2012 date tbc - Poole Weekend with Sailability

Poole Harbour is the 2nd largest natural harbour in the world. It is a wonderful open area for sailing with island and beaches to visit. We have a reciprocal arrangement with Sailability at Rockley. Sailing is in a variety of boats; including Sailability Wayfarers, the odd catamaran, a keel boat (boat with cabin) and some SBSC boats.
